The Iron Serpents held their Guild Ritual last night at Gurubashi Arena in Stranglethorn Vale. Warchief Rockfist began the ceremony by discussing the Iron Serpents' next course of action. With the culmination of the Goblin's Colosseum fast approaching it will be necessary to adhere to a challenging battle plan. Serpents are encouraged to enlist friends they think could handle this upcoming challenge, to the guild.

New and exciting battles await us as that engineering project enters its final days.

Adaelia, a newly promoted Archon, reviewed the guild's plans for Alliance conflict management. Recent campaigns in Stranglethorn Vale had caused an increase in skirmishes between the two factions and the Horde have been working diligently to prevent a full loss of control within the zone. Adaelia will be away for a few weeks but plans to continue building the guild's core fighters upon her return. In the meantime Black Order member Beefuul will be running the Battleground sessions and taking Serpents into The Vault of the Ancients in an effort to outfit the guild's front lines.

Concluding the ritual, Rockfist also added a new officer to his ranks of War Council. A celebrated veteran of the guild, Wezen, was asked to take on this challenge and graciously accepted.

Lots of exciting things await the Iron Serpents over the coming months we look forward to having you on our adventures!

Guild Ritual - August 2nd
printer friendlyemail to someone
The Iron Serpents will be hosting one of their famous (or infamous, depending on who you ask) Guild Rituals on August 2nd.
The guild ritual is a unique guild activity that all Serpents should attend.

There are always good jokes, good food, and a good brawl. Please sign up in the calendar.

In other news, last Sunday the Iron Serpents combined forces with Lady Nyx's army and a few Blackmoon Tribe members in an effort to thwart another Alliance victory at the Booty Bay fishing tournament. The battle broke out near the basecamp and lasted for the duration of the contest. Unfortunately, the Alliance managed to scrape together another victory. Forces will reform within the Vale this coming Sunday. Victory is close for the Horde!

Guild 2v2

The Guild 2v2 occurred this past Saturday, allowing Iron Serpents to hone their battle skills against one another in a team activity. Only one team managed to go undefeated, which included Valance and Bouzouki who will take their position as Iron Champion until their title is challenged. Second place was awarded to High Warlords On and Beefuul. Unfortunately their claws and daggers were no match for the Lich King in Bouzouki's back pocket. Coming in third was Dean and his two pets Ace and Torihn.

Try as he might Wezen just couldn't get his Fire Elemental under control long enough to conjure up a win for him and his team mate Dakkon. However, they managed to go a perfect 0-3 and score themselves the "Target Dummy" Guild Achievement.

Congratulations to all who participated! Stay tuned for the guild 1v1 coming soon.
